India, Aug. 22 -- Candidates who appeared for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026 are awaiting the declaration of their results by the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC). The examination was conducted on July 2, 3 and 4 at centres across all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh. More than 2.2 lakh candidates appeared for Paper 1 and Paper 2, while 2,27,481 applicants had registered for the eligibility test.

The exam city information was issued on June 22 and admit cards became available on June 30. Following the examination, UPESSC published the provisional answer key on July 8. Once announced, the UPTET 2026 scorecard will be accessible through the commission's official website.
