India, June 22 -- Uttar Pradesh's battle with scorching heat continues as the state is experiencing a prolonged delay in the monsoon activity. Several districts of the state have experienced heatwave-like conditions, and as a result, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for 39 districts. However, the weather department also believes that there might be light rainfall in eastern regions, but in major cities like Lucknow, Kanpur, and Prayagraj, the scorching weather continues.
