India, May 23 -- A social activist named Deepak Sharma reached the municipal corporation office in Mathura dressed as a cockroach, where he could be seen singing and dancing. The activist was protesting against pollution in the Yamuna River while wearing a costume inspired by the recently launched satirical "Cockroach Janta Party (CJP)." The act drew attention to the degrading condition of the Yamuna, which could worsen further if urgent action is not taken.
