India, Sept. 29 -- Britain faced a historic number of wildfires this year. Now, Baroness Brown, the chairwoman of the Climate Change Committee (CCC) has said that if action is not taken, the lives of people 'will be lost'. The CCC, formed in 2008 had previously warned that Britain is "not prepared for the changing climate" and spoke about the subject several years ago, in 2012.
