India, July 26 -- Magomed Ankalaev made a successful return to the UFC light heavyweight division with a much-needed victory at UFC Abu Dhabi, putting his title ambitions back on track after losing the belt to Alex Pereira last year. Originally scheduled to face Khalil Rountree Jr., Ankalaev was matched against Bogdan Guskov after Rountree withdrew due to a training injury. Despite a slow-paced contest, the former champion found his breakthrough in the fifth round, securing a TKO finish to mark his comeback with a win.
