India, May 28 -- Crystal Palace registered a narrow win over Spanish side Rayo Vallecano to claim their maiden UEFA Conference title on Wednesday. It also marked the first-ever European silverware for the Premier League club. Crystal Palace has also become only the third English club to earn the Conference League medal, matching the feat of West Ham United in 2023 and Chelsea in 2025.

Despite their success at the continental stage, Crystal Palace struggled in the Premier League this season. They finished 15th in the final league standings with 45 points after 11 wins and 12 draws. However, with a historic victory over Rayo, Crystal Palace booked their European tickets for the next season.
