India, Aug. 4 -- Gold prices in the Gulf region edged up slightly on 4 August 2026 tracking international bullion prices despite continued investor interest in safe-haven assets. In the United Arab Emirates, 24K gold was quoted at 485.50 Dirham per gram, 22K at 449.50 Dirham and 18K at 369.50 Dirham while similar trends were observed in Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Kuwait City, Doha and Muscat.

Bullion is supported globally by geopolitical uncertainty in West Asia, US Federal Reserve interest rate outlook expectations and a softer US dollar.
