India, Sept. 16 -- UAE Cancels Visas of Bangladeshis: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has abruptly cancelled the residency and work visas of approximately 4,800 Bangladeshi nationals, leaving thousands stranded and unable to return to their jobs and businesses. The massive wave of visa cancellations took place while many of the affected expatriates were back home in Bangladesh on routine family leave or holidays.
