Srinagar, August 17, Aug. 18 -- Security forces on Sunday apprehended two terrorist associates linked to the proscribed outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) in the Malpora Nowgam area of Sumbal in North Kashmir's Bandipora district.
According to officials, a joint naka was set up by Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Army. During the search operation, two suspects were intercepted and found carrying arms and ammunition.
Recovered items include: - 2 Chinese grenades - 2 Under Barrel Grenade Launcher (UBGL) grenades - 10 AK-47 rounds
The arrested individuals have been identified as Abdul Majid Gojri of SK Bala and Abdul Hamid Dar of Vijpara.
