India, May 28 -- Twisha Sharma Case Latest Update: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday arrested retired judge Giribala Singh in connection with the death case of her daughter-in-law, Twisha Sharma, after the Madhya Pradesh High Court cancelled the anticipatory bail earlier granted to her.

The arrest came just hours after the high court strongly criticised the earlier bail order and highlighted serious allegations, lack of cooperation during investigation and the gravity of the offence. The case has drawn major public attention because it involves a former judge and allegations linked to dowry harassment and suspicious death.
