India, April 23 -- The Turkish parliament on Wednesday adopted a new law that bans the use of social media for minors under the age of 15 in an effort to protect kids from online harmful content. The draft law states that the minors are required to verify their age and identity using the e-government systems. Failing to do so will restrict access to the account.
