India, Sept. 29 -- US President Donald Trump's political standing has deteriorated across multiple major polling enterprises, with approval ratings now reaching historic lows not seen since his first term.

According to aggregate data compiled by RealClear Polling, Trump's disapproval rating stood at 57.3 percent whilst his approval rating registered at an anemic 40.3 percent, producing a net approval gap of minus-17 percent. An Economist/YouGov poll recorded even more catastrophic findings, placing Trump's approval at only 34 percent, the lowest recorded in that polling series.
