India, July 10 -- Christopher Nolan has arrived in Mumbai, marking a historic moment for Indian moviegoers. The Oscar-winning filmmaker landed in the city on Thursday ahead of The Odyssey's India premiere, making it the first Nolan film to hold an official premiere event in the country.

Joining him is Tom Holland, who was also spotted arriving in Mumbai. Paparazzi videos showed the actor landing at the airport before heading to the iconic Taj Mahal Palace hotel, where he greeted photographers with a wave.

Nolan was accompanied by his wife and longtime producing partner, Emma Thomas. Reports also suggest that The Odyssey lead star Matt Damon is expected to join the promotional event soon.
