India, Aug. 31 -- Toll charges are back in focus as September begins, but motorists should note that there is no nationwide blanket hike in standard NHAI toll rates from September 1, 2026. The main annual revision for most National Highway toll plazas took effect on April 1.

Eligible residents living within 20 km of a covered toll plaza can apply online for a Rs.350 monthly pass through the RajmargYatra app.
