India, Aug. 12 -- Tobey Maguire could be heading back into the Spider-Man suit for another major Marvel multiverse event, and this time, the character may be involved right from the opening moments of Avengers: Doomsday. A new report has claimed that Marvel Studios had an ambitious plan for Maguire's Peter Parker with the opening sequence potentially bringing him face to face with the X-Men.

The details come an industry Q&A involving scoopster Alex Perez of The Cosmic Circus. According to Perez, Marvel's original intention was to show Maguire's Spider-Man and his rogues' gallery fighting against the X-Men at the start of Avengers: Doomsday.
