India, July 31 -- A forthcoming television documentary commissioned by Channel 4 is set to challenge conventional medical wisdom surrounding attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. According to multiple reports, the documentary probes whether the exponential rise in cases reflects a genuine neurodevelopmental epidemic or the inevitable fallout of modern life.
Titled The Great ADHD Myth? and fronted by full-time NHS psychiatrist Dr Max Pemberton, the investigative film examines official National Health Service data revealing a staggering two hundred per cent increase in patient referrals for ADHD evaluations between 2020 and 2025.
