India, June 16 -- Telegram has been temporarily blocked in India until June 22 ahead of the NEET UG 2026 re-examination scheduled for June 21. The move comes after the National Testing Agency (NTA) raised concerns over fake paper leak claims and exam-related scams allegedly being spread through the platform. The government has also directed Telegram to disable its message editing feature in India until June 30.
