India, Sept. 16 -- Telangana Dasara Holidays 2026: Students across Telangana are set to get a 13-day break from school during the Dasara festive season. According to the 2026-27 academic calendar, schools will close from October 10 to October 22, 2026, with classes scheduled to resume on October 23.

The extended break will cover several important festive dates, including Bathukamma celebrations and Vijayadashami. With the holidays falling across much of October's festive period, students and parents can plan family visits, travel, and celebrations.

October 9 will be the last working day before the Dasara vacation begins.
