India, Sept. 13 -- Tamil Nadu School Holiday Tomorrow: Students and parents in Tamil Nadu are eagerly awaiting September 14, 2026, since Ganesh Chaturthi, alternatively known as Vinayakar Chaturthi, will be falling on this day.

According to the information on holidays available, Tamil Nadu is one out of the six states that will observe a school holiday on account of this occasion. The other five states, apart from Tamil Nadu, are Maharashtra, Karnataka, Goa, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. It should be noted that this does not apply to all states in India.
