India, May 15 -- Stocks to Watch Today (May 15, 2026): Indian benchmark stock market indices continued their upward momentum for the second consecutive session on Thursday, May 14, with strong buying in telecom, pharmaceutical, and private banking shares helping markets close sharply higher despite volatile trading during the day.

The BSE Sensex surged 789.74 points, or 1.06%, to settle at 75,398.72. The index opened in positive territory and briefly turned negative during late morning trade before recovering strongly through value buying. During the session, the Sensex also touched an intraday high of 75,681.88.
