India, July 16 -- Stock Market Today Live Updates: India's benchmark equity indices opened slightly higher on Thursday, with the BSE Sensex gaining over 225 points at the opening bell, while the Nifty 50 rose 67 points. The Sensex opened at 77,388 and was trading 210 points higher at 77,395.44 as of 9:29 a.m. The Nifty 50 began the session at 24,145, up 67.30 points, or 0.28%.
