India, Sept. 14 -- Stock market investors in India will be able to resume trading in stocks from Tuesday because Monday, September 14, 2026, is a trading holiday for the local stock market due to the celebration of the Hindu festival Ganesh Chaturthi. September 14 is a holiday for equity markets at the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and it means that the normal equity market will not be open during the holiday period. It will follow a tough week in Indian equities markets while on September 11, the Sensex fell to 74,781.76, losing 120.83 points or 0.16% whereas the Nifty 50 fell to 23,398.10, losing 79.70 points or 0.34%.
