India, Sept. 27 -- Action targets assets allegedly linked to narcotics trafficking and terror-related activities.

Continuing its intensified action against drug trafficking, terror-related activities and their financial support structures, Srinagar Police has attached and frozen four immovable properties worth approximately Rs 7.11 crore under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act [UA(P)A].

According to police, the action was taken in separate cases being investigated by Police Stations Zakura, Nowgam, Ahmadnagar and Shalteng. The properties were identified during investigations as either proceeds of narcotics trafficking or linked to terror-related activ...
