India, June 19 -- Travelling from South Delhi to Gurgaon could soon become much faster. The Delhi government has approved a new 4-km signal-free flyover on SSN Marg to reduce traffic congestion at the busy Anuvrat Marg junction. The project aims to solve one of South Delhi's biggest traffic bottlenecks, where long queues and delays are common, especially during peak hours and the wedding season.
At present, commuters can take up to 35 minutes to travel just 4 km on this stretch due to heavy congestion. Vehicle speeds often fall below 10 kmph during peak hours.
