India, Nov. 4 -- South Carolina US Midterm Election 2026: The 2026 South Carolina US Midterm Elections are taking place on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Voters in the Palmetto State are hitting the polling stations to determine who wins several key positions within the Federal Government and state government, such as Governor, US Senator, Attorney General and US Representative.

This year's election includes a key race for the Governor position to replace outgoing Governor Henry McMaster as well as a special election for US Senator after the death of Senator Lindsey Graham. Like its fellow Bible Belt states, South Carolina has generally voted for Republicans in its political history.
