India, July 24 -- A devastating wildfire burning across Slievenamon Mountain in County Tipperary has become a stark reminder of how climate change is reshaping Ireland's summers. Since Monday, firefighters, Air Corps helicopters, forestry teams and local farmers have worked around the clock to stop the fast-moving blaze from spreading further. More than 700 hectares have already been destroyed, while smoke has drifted into neighbouring counties, raising air quality concerns.

Authorities say there is no immediate danger to homes, but emergency crews remain on high alert as changing winds, dry weather and difficult terrain continue to challenge firefighting operations.
