India, Aug. 5 -- The Election Commission of India (ECI) has extended the schedule for the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in several states, including Delhi, Maharashtra, Odisha, Punjab, Karnataka and Telangana. The revised timeline extends voter verification, draft electoral roll publication and the release of final voter lists in different states.
