India, Sept. 23 -- Silver Rate Today, 23 September 2026: Price of silver in India stayed at around Rs.2.50 lakh/kg as the domestic price quote for the precious metal on the same day is quoted at Rs.249.90 per gram, equivalent to Rs.2,49,900 per kg. The fall in the price is observed by Rs.100 per kg as compared to the previous day's price however, there appears to be a more complex scenario in the market.

In the international silver futures market, the price of silver was quoted at around $67.89 per ounce on the same day, whereas in another live international market reference, silver was quoted around $67.61. The unique feature of silver as compared to gold is that it is not only a precious metal but also an industrial metal.
