India, Sept. 15 -- Sheila Kennelly, the British-born Australian actress best known for playing Floss McPhee in Home and Away, has died at the age of 88. Kennelly died at her beloved farm in the Hunter Valley, surrounded by her family and dogs. Her death was confirmed by television historian Andrew Mercado, who said she passed away in the way she had always wanted.
"Darling Sheila Kennelly has died the way she always wanted, 'falling off the twig', as she would say, on her beloved farm in the Hunter Valley," Mercado wrote on social media.
He added, "She was surrounded by her dogs and dear family who looked after her so lovingly in her final days."
