India, May 28 -- A woman who was killed in the gunfire outside a city centre bar in Sheffield during the Bank Holiday on Monday has been identified by the police as Shanice Brookes. According to a statement by the officers, the 30-year-old was rushed to the hospital due to a critical injury after she sustained a gunshot wound at 2.45 am. The woman was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Her family paid an emotional tribute to the "much-loved" mother-of-one. The woman was out with friends when the violence erupted, the family stated. The incident occurred outside the One Four One bar on West Street, a popular nightlife hub often frequented by students and residents.
