India, June 30 -- Indian Premier League star Shashank Singh and his father, retired IPS officer Shailesh Singh, came under legal scrutiny after a domestic staff member filed a complaint accusing them of verbal abuse, assault, and wrongful confinement. Based on the complaint, Bhopal Police registered an FIR at Ratibad Police Station on Monday. The complainant, 31-year-old Vipendra Singh Tomar, had reportedly joined the household as a cook only recently.
