India, Oct. 8 -- The final stretch of the ATP season brings some of the biggest names in men's tennis to Shanghai for the Shanghai Masters 2026. The ATP Masters 1000 event gets underway with the singles main draw on October 7 and will run through October 18 at the Qizhong Tennis Center.

Alexander Zverev leads the field as the top seed, while Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic, Daniil Medvedev, Ben Shelton and Felix Auger-Aliassime are among the other major names chasing the title. Defending champion Valentin Vacherot is also back in Shanghai looking to follow up on one of the most remarkable Masters 1000 runs in recent history.
