India, Sept. 23 -- Sensex Today, September 23, 2026: India's share market opened on a positive note today, September 23, 2026 prompted higher by the rising shares as crude oil prices witnessed a downward trend. However, the ongoing selling by foreign funds and concerns over the developments in the Middle East region remained a concern for the market. According to sources, the SENSEX is trading at 74,694.61, up 165.53 points or 0.22% at 10:05 am. The SENSEX reached an intra-day high of 74,812.74. On the other hand, the Nifty 50 index was trading above the 23,350 level.
