The Sensex was down 264.56 points, or 0.34%, at 76,970.90 during intraday trading while the Nifty 50 declined 82.30 points, or 0.34%, to 24,072.60. The broader market remained under pressure as elevated crude prices and Middle East tensions added to concerns.
