India, July 4 -- Satluj, previously called Punjab '95, Ghallughara' is a kind of hard-headed, no-nonsense docudrama that sort of drifts through one of the bleakest chapters in Punjab history. For the last three years, director Honey Trehan has been sort of struggling with the CBFC, and at last the movie has been released in exactly its original form on Zee5 from 03 July 2026. The narrative is loosely tied to human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra , and it is set against the rough backdrop of the Punjab insurgency in the 1990s.
