India, Aug. 8 -- S&P 500 futures closed at 7,777.25 on Friday, up by 42.50 points or 0.55% on the back of the lower-than-expected US jobs figures, corporate results and new expectations for the Fed rate hike. The futures opened at 7,735.00 and fluctuated in the range of 7,725.50-7,786.75 and the most recent performance brings S&P 500 futures very close to record territory, with the contract showing a 22.16% one-year gain.
