India, Aug. 24 -- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky turned to the so-called Coalition of the Willing on Monday, pressing European allies to speed up funding and air defences as Kyiv braces for another winter of Russian strikes, with no US official confirmed to take part in the talks.

The summit, involving some leaders gathered in person in Kyiv and others joining by video link, came a day after a grouping of Baltic and Nordic nations met in the Ukrainian capital to show their support.
