India, July 27 -- Russia-Ukraine War Latest News: The Russia-Ukraine war continued to intensify on Monday as fresh attacks added another layer to the ongoing war. Russian authorities said a Ukrainian aerial strike on the Rostov region killed 2 people and injured five others.

At the same time, Iran accused Kyiv of targeting an Iranian commercial vessel in the Caspian Sea and warned that the attack 'cannot go unanswered.'

Tehran also summoned Ukraine's person in the charge of the affairs, as President Volodymyr Zelenskyy defended Ukraine's long-range operations against what Kyiv described as military-linked targets.
