India, Sept. 22 -- RuneScape is down for many players in the US today, with users reporting difficulties connecting to the game's servers, logging into their accounts and playing normally. According to the latest outage reports, 74% of reported problems are related to Server Connection, making it the most widespread issue. Another 12% of reports concern Login, while 8% involve Gameplay problems.

The outage is affecting players in different ways, from being unable to retrieve the available world list to getting disconnected while actively playing. Some users are also reporting lag affecting in-game interactions on dedicated servers, suggesting that the disruption is impacting both access and gameplay for some players.
