India, Aug. 29 -- Former NBA player Royce White made an appearance at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Friday night, showing up for the Indiana Fever's matchup against the Connecticut Sun while wearing a long blonde wig. His appearance came shortly after he announced his intention to enter the 2027 WNBA Draft.

White's move followed a similar appearance by Enes Kanter Freedom, who has also declared for the upcoming WNBA Draft. However, the WNBA has firmly stated that neither former NBA player would be eligible to be drafted.
