India, Aug. 13 -- Premier League heavyweights Manchester City FC have turned down a fresh 55 million pounds proposal from FC Barcelona for Spanish midfielder Rodri as the summer transfer window approaches its final stretch. According to Sky Sports journalist Lyall Thomas, negotiations between the two European giants remain ongoing despite the latest setback. Barcelona are determined to land the premier defensive midfielder to strengthen their central options, but Manchester City holds firm on their financial expectations for the crucial star player.
