India, April 7 --  A tragic rocket attack on a residential house in Manipur's Bishnupur district has left two young children dead and their mother seriously injured, triggering protests and forcing authorities to suspend internet services across several districts.

The incident took place in the early hours of Tuesday in Moirang's Tronglaobi area, a region located near sensitive hill boundaries. According to officials, a projectile believed to have been fired from nearby elevated areas struck a civilian house while the family was asleep.
