Records show continued procurement of 12-bore pump action guns for riot control
India, July 26 -- The official procurement records do not use the term 'pellet gun'. Instead as 12-bore pump action gun.
Official records of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) show that the Centre has continued to procure the 12 Bore Pump Action Gun, the weapon platform officially used to fire 12-bore shotgun cartridges, including pellet-based and other less-lethal ammunition for crowd and riot control.
