India, July 5 -- Satyadev's much-awaited Telugu psychological mystery, Rao Bahadur, has finally made it to theatres, kind of pulling in the attention of moviegoers with that interesting premise. Directed by Venkatesh Maha, the thriller kind of seemed to take off on a decent note at the box office, especially for a film that is more about substance than pure spectacle. On day one, Rao Bahadur brought in an estimated Rs.3.11 crore to Rs.3.59 crore worldwide, and the India net numbers were around Rs.1.40 crore. That first day's opening sort of suggests audiences are leaning towards fresh, uncustomary narratives.
