India, Aug. 22 -- Rajinikanth fans have another reason to revisit the world of Muthuvel Pandian. The makers of Jailer 2 have unveiled the film's first song, Ala Bolelo, composed and sung by Anirudh Ravichander. The track features special appearances by Shamna Kasim and Rajesh Madhavan and comes ahead of the much-awaited sequel's theatrical release.

The film is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and backed by Sun Pictures. The sequel brings Rajinikanth back as "Tiger" Muthuvel Pandian, the retired jailer who found himself pulled into a dangerous situation in the first film.

Jailer 2 is scheduled to hit theatres worldwide in October 15, 2026 during the Dussehra festive period.
