India, Sept. 14 -- Counting for the Rajasthan Municipal Election Result 2026 is underway across the state, with results for municipal corporations, councils and municipalities being declared on September 14. The civic polls are being closely watched as a major contest between the ruling BJP and Congress ahead of the 2028 Rajasthan Assembly Election.

Rajasthan has 309 urban local bodies, including 10 municipal corporations, 51 municipal councils and 248 municipalities, with 10,245 councillor posts up for election. Voting was held in two phases on September 9 and 11.
