India, Sept. 25 -- The final phase of Rajasthan's urban local body elections brought the spotlight back to four key civic contests on Friday, September 25. Voters had already chosen the councillors; now Jaipur, Jodhpur and Kota got their mayors, while the newly formed Suket municipality elected its first chairperson.

After polling from 10 am to 2 pm and counting soon after, BJP candidates won all three mayoral contests, while Jitendra Chopra secured the first chairperson's post in Suket.
