India, Sept. 14 -- Rajasthan Election Result Live: Rajasthan's urban political map began taking shape on Monday as votes were counted across 209 urban local bodies, putting the spotlight on the BJP, Congress and a large number of independent candidates competing for control at the ward level. Counting began at 8 AM on September 14, with results expected to emerge through the day.

The civic contest covers 10,167 wards and 38,889 candidates, making it one of the biggest local electoral exercises in Rajasthan in recent years. Voting took place in two phases on September 9 and 11. The first phase covered 162 urban bodies, while the second phase covered 147 bodies, including Jaipur Municipal Corporation and other major cities.
