India, Aug. 16 -- In the wake of a personal tragedy, the fight for women's dignity has become a call to challenge how society views, raises and defines girls. For Navnidhi Sharma, the death of his daughter Twisha turned grief and helplessness into a larger fight, not only to seek justice for his daughter, but also for a society where girls are seen as human beings rather than objects or defined solely by marriage and family roles. Speaking at the We Women Want Conclave, organised by NewsX, Sharma urged society to rethink the way it views and raises women.
