India, Oct. 1 -- UK's counter-terrorism police arrested a 27-year-old man, a dual UK and Iranian national, in the London borough of Westminster on Thursday on suspicion of preparing terrorist acts, in a fresh development in the investigation into an incident near RAF Fairford.

The arrest was made under Section 5 of the Terrorism Act 2006, according to a statement from Counter Terrorism Policing. A second man, aged 26 and a UK national, was questioned under caution, and two properties in the same area were searched. Police have not named either man.
